Evan has over 15 years of experience at the intersection of computer networking, security, and reliability engineering. As the author of “Zero Trust Networks”, O'Reilly 2017) and the creator of the first workload identity standard (SPIFFE, a CNCF Graduated project), Evan brings a unique understanding of these complex challenges—and how to solve them.
Eli is a globally recognized security expert with nearly 20 years of experience designing and operating systems at companies like Facebook, Shape Security, and F5 Networks. Known for simplifying complex systems, he makes cybersecurity more accessible and efficient. Eli co-authored “Solving the Bottom Turtle” and architected one of the world’s largest SPIFFE deployments, scaling to over 1 million nodes.
